Rilakkuma

The factual story for Rilakkuma's being is that he mysteriously appears in the female office worker Kaoru's apartment one day. He is a soft toy bear who has apparently decided to take up residence there. On his back is a zipper which when opened reveals a light blue polka dot patterned material. The reason for the zipper on his back is unknown.

He was first seen in a series of picture books called Rilakkuma Seikatsu produced by San-X but since has become equally popular as a soft-toy character. In the picture books, he is often seen dressed up in a variety of costumes such as a kappa costume. In addition, it is implied that even in his usual appearance, his entire lower body is a costume, which he will often replace when it gets old or dirty (Rilakkuma is frequently seen sitting around waiting for suits that look exactly like him to dry on the clothes line). However, it is not clear whether his head is also part of his costume.

His favorite foods are dango, pancakes, omurice and custard pudding. True to his name, he enjoys relaxing and his favorite things include sleeping, lying around, watching television, listening to music and soaking in hot springs. He loves using Kaoru's yellow bean bag pillow, although there has been some controversy whether or not the yellow bean bag pillow is in fact Kiiroitori. Despite some confusion that often occurs relating to Rilakkuma and his friend Korilakkuma's genders, it is stated on the San-X site that he is in fact a male, while Korilakkuma is indeed female.

Rilakkuma is often accompanied by Korilakkuma. Kiiroitori fictionally named her Korilakkuma because she looks like a small Rilakkuma (Ko means child Japanese). She also mysteriously appeared at Kaoru’s house. Rilakkuma didn’t know her at the time. She is full of vigor and is very mischievous. Korilakkuma frequently plays pranks on Rilakkuma while he is sleeping, such as drawing on him, putting headphones on him and sewing odd color patches on his bear suits. Most of the time, Korilakkuma does not speak, but occasionally she knows what Rilakkuma is saying.
Korilakkuma also has the appearance of a bear, but also has a red button attached to her chest, and so it seems that she is also not a real bear. However, unlike Rilakkuma, she doesn't have a zipper on her back. Her favorite foods are strawberries, apples and cherries and she loves playing with her radio controlled duck. Like Rilakkuma, she also likes listening to music, particularly at loud volume using her music player.

Kiiroitori is a yellow chick who lives at Kaoru’s house. Kiiroitori means “yellow bird” in Japanese. He used to be in a birdcage but now he comes out at his own discretion and scolds Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma because Rilakkuma is too lazy and Korilakkuma is too mischievous. Sometimes he feels down because he thinks he scolds them too much. He plays a tsukkomi  role (considered to be the smarter, more logical one who criticizes others for making mistakes). Kiiroitori is basically the opposite of Rilakkuma because of the bird's hard-working nature and love of cleaning. Kiiroitori is Kaoru's pet chick.

Kapibarasan

Kapibara-san is a character created by Banpresto. At the beginning you could only get a Kapibara-san from toy crane vending machines. But people wanted it so much that they started selling it everywhere, different sizes, different colors, T-shirts, books and all kinds of merchandising. It is interesting how they managed to create a phenomenon just from a boring and simple animal (a capybara). The point is that it is really “kawai” (cute), and Japanese love “kawai” stuff. I like it!

Thank You and sorry for only little informations but thats all I got and I hope you enjoyed it.

Mamegoma

Mamegoma (まめゴマ) is a series of seal characters created by the Japanese company San-X. It was created at 2005. Their name comes from the prefix mame (or 'bean' in english) referring to them as being a miniture form of something joined with the suffix goma which comes from gomafuazarashi (or 'sesame seed-mottled seal' in literal English) which is the Japanese name for the spotted seal. Joined together this would make their name mean: Miniture Spotted Seal.
Mamegoma are available in a variety of different colors including, white, blue, pink and black. The seals are often depicted as being small enough (12 cm, weighing around 200 g) to live in a common goldfish bowl, usually with a few ice cubes to keep the water nice and cool. They are also shown in advertisements and merchandise in bath tubs and relaxing on a wheel in a hamster cage among other activities.

There is different characters within the mamegoma range, the most common being the white seal, named siro-goma after it's appearance. The other seals are the pink seal, or sakura-goma (meaning cherry blossom seal), and the blue seal named ama-goma (meaning rain seal). Mamegoma also has a show called Kupu Mamegoma.

The mamegoma characters are available as plush toys from UFO catcher machines. There are also many different products with the Mamegoma seals as a decoration, like stationery, calendars etc.

Tarepanda

Tarepanda is a cute panda character which is designed by Hikaru Suemasa (末政ひかる) and is owned by the San-X Company. Tarepanda which means “lazy” panda or “droopy” panda in Japanese. More specifically “Tare” means lying on the tummy or can be described as slump down/slouch. These panda’s characters form by rolling around. How lazy? Just for your record Tarepanda is so lazy and slow that moves about 2.75 meters per hour. (according to company literature) Tarepanda loves to eat mochi (especially Suama, Japanese sweets).

In February 1998, San-X launched Tarepanda erasers and letter pads, which proved enormous hits. San-X believed these products were successful because they were released shortly after the Asian financial crisis of autumn 1997, a time when many people in Japan were facing layoffs and, consequently, were sympathetic toward a "worn-out" panda character. By 1999, sales of Tarepanda goods had reached 30 billion yen. Character Databank, a Japanese character popularity monitoring firm, has claimed Tarepanda was a huge hit in Japan. It was rated one of the most popular characters in Japan for being so "Kawaii" (cute in Japanese).

Tarepanda is featured in Picture Books,  Sticker Books, Videos, Games and Computer Softwares/Accessories.

Thank You for checking out this blog and I hope you enjoy some informations that I got about Tarepanda.
